About this deal

Research comments: This is an early document on what became the world's first commercial computer program. That job was known internally at Lyons as L3, the Lyons Bakery Valuations job, which produced valuations of the output and sales of the Cadby Hall bakeries. The document refers to the experimental nature of these early programs and Lyons' need to approach the experiment as a test of what would happen once their new computer was fully operational in terms of the data required to feed the new machine, its output and the timings for both. (LM) In an earlier interview, Sarah said she was glad to have had her children so early in her career. The star told the Sunday Mirror in 2000: "To my children I am a mum. I am nothing more.
